Graduate School

Since the establishment of the Division of Graduate School in 1937, Prairie View A&M University has been committed to excellence in teaching, research, and service at the graduate level. We offer master’s, doctoral, and certification programs across a wide range of disciplines, all designed to help you achieve your academic and professional goals. These programs are delivered through a strong partnership between the Graduate School and the University’s colleges and schools.

The Graduate School is your primary source for information about advanced degrees, while this Academic Catalog is the official guide to graduate programs, requirements, and policies. For general questions, contact the Graduate School; for program-specific details, reach out to the college or school that offers your degree.

As a graduate student, you are responsible for knowing and following all policies and procedures of both the Graduate School and your program. Requirements, regulations, and course offerings may change as needed by the University.
